This is a set of business cards created as part of my transition from student to Visual Communicator. However, this project was about more than just designing a new business card. I wanted to create an identity that would communicate both who I am and what I do. Through the observation of my possessions, I noticed that my wardrobe consists entirely of varying shades of grey through to black, but never white. There was the occasional red shirt and brown shoes, but most were a subconscious attempt at a controlled gradient. Grey as a colour has many variations, it is neither black nor white but a combination of the two. I realised that this was a fitting analogy of myself, and that I should embrace Grey as a representative colour. My entire identity has spawned from this single piece of insight, and I have reconstructed everything while maintaining the original 'OS' logo.
